I am a minor league pitching coach and will be in Birmingham in a few days. Any way for me to stop by your lab and check out your awesome facility? If so, how do I go about it.

You would be welcomed to visit us, if even you didn't refer to our facility as awesome.
Why don't you call Becky, Dave, or me as soon as possible, to make arrangements.

Hello, Im not well versed in using forums. I was diagnosed with a hip labrum tear and had hip arthroscopy surgery April 17th, 2009 by Dr. Ross Outerbridge in Kamloops, B.C., Canada. He said I had tears in both hip cartilidges, labrum and articulate. He went in, with traction, and cleaned them up - did not require pinning of the cartilidge or resurfacing of my femur head. My concern is that for the last three nights I have had the pre-op pain I experienced back and it is 5X worse than before surgery. I have felt great until then. I dont see Dr. Outerbridge until June 15th and I start physiotherapy this afternoon. I am terrified that the pain may be back. Most of the pain is while at rest - which means I am up most of the night in agony. Sound familiar to anyone, whill it go away for good?

Nicole,
To start, you need to discuss this with your physical therapist and your surgeon. Perhaps you need to call Dr. Outerbridge's office, tell them about your pain, and get a recheck visit as soon as possible.
