Right thought Id drop a line on a forum that might be able to help me My work out on Monday evening was as follows.
Bench Press Incline Flye Military Press Lateral Raise Upright Rose Bent over Curl Lying Triceps French Press Incline Alternate Dumbbell Curl
Warmed up, done the above work out with no pain what so ever. Woke up the next day and the base of my neck to the right hand side feels like pinched a nerve or something and it feels very fragile when I tilt my head to the right and back. I done the exact same injury to the left hand side almost a year ago and it took half a year to clear up, even had a scan which showed up nothing. I do have bad muscle knots in that area.
Any help will be gratefully appreciated as Im sure some one else on here will of done the same thing..
Any ideas what causes this and what I can do to prevent it.

After, workout neck pains are somewhat common and not always serious. The main cause of neck pain is muscle strains or muscle weakness due to overuse of muscles.
A good way to ease your neck pain is to go for non-medicinal treatments like
Acupuncture and massage therapy,
Stretch your neck, back, and shoulders as needed
Physical Therapy, Ice or heat therapy
Truly, it will minimize pain and you will feel relief with these activities.
But as you told you had exactly the same to the left side too. I would seriously recommending you that consult some sports orthopedic and Sports medicine consultant. They would definitely be able to integrate the injury with work out you had.
