Which are the most effective treatments for sports-related injuries? Why do some athletes get hurt, but not others?
The American Sports Medicine Institute is a non-profit organization with a mission to improve the understanding, prevention, and treatment of sports-related injuries through research and education. ASMI is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Research Assistant. Job duties include collect data from physicians and patients, enter surgery data into electronic database, interview patients for follow-up, assist in biomechanical testing of athletes, and process video and data from biomechanical evaluations.
Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in science, public health or related field. He/she should be comfortable with Microsoft Excel. Experience in Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, and electronic medical records are helpful but not required.
