Hello all, this is my first post here and I found this forum as a great platform to share my story. I am only 38 years old and for past two years I have Osteoarthritis in both knees. I went through many doctors and last September I had a knee replacement surgery. Everything seemed to be going well, but after about 3 months the pain resurfaced with greater intensity. I saw another doctor who asked me to do a bone scan. He found an infection at the knees and took out my replacement. Now I use crutches to move around and doctor haves said that I have only less chance for recovery. My intentions are not to scare anyone, but is to make people understand that they have to be careful even after the surgery. I found a blog ( aesm.ca/what-is-osteoarthritis-of-the-knee-symptoms- and-non-surgical-alternatives/ ) which is gonna help you people know more about Osteoarthritis and some non surgical recovery methods. Hope this will help you.
Sorry to hear about what you have gone through with your knees. I am a treatment adviser at King Brand Healthcare products and we sell wraps to treat different injuries. We promote healing while at rest and doing so in a non invasive way. I have heard many bad stories with knee surgeries. Definitely try to treat first before going the surgery route. The best thing is for people to do the research on their injury or ailment before going straight to surgery.

Sorry to hear about your problem and thanks for sharing this, so that it will help others. I think knee replacement is not the only option left there are some non surgical recovery methods to recover from osteoarthritis symptoms. I want to share one such remedy to cure arthritis. Olive leaves contain high amounts of oleuropein, making their extracts a valuable source of this nutrient without the need to consume large amounts of olive oil.Olive leaf extract and their oleuropein constituents are best known for their blood pressure-lowering effects, but the latest studies reveal their health benefits extend well beyond that. Additional anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties offer promise in fighting atherosclerosis, diabetes, cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and arthritis.
I'm sorry to hear about knee pain. Have you tried holistic methods for its treatment? If not, I suggest visiting acupuncture meadowvale clinic. They will tell you all the benefits of acupuncture in knee pain.
