I hyper-extended my knee playing basketball (landing straight playing basketball). I felt immediate pain on both sides of my knee, however was able to walk it off and continue playing. It has been ~2 weeks and I still feel some tenderness on the outside of the knee (just to the left of the kneecap) the and sometimes a bit on the inside, side of the knee seemly on the bone). I can run and jump but feel some stiffness afterwards but which goes away after some icing and rest. Does this seem to qualify as minor knee sprain that can be managed with RICE?
