Im desperate here. I am 30 years old and have an aching pain in my elbow. it was diagnosed as golfers elbow. Started out as a shooting pain and now is an ache with some numbness and pain up the arm and into my middle finger. Aching only happens after i use the joint/ arm for more than 5 mins,it is starting to ache while i type this. I had an mri last week that came out normal no inflamation nothing all was normal. The pain is managable but something is wrong and i cannot do my job while my arm aches. ive had the xray done to my neck(no mri) and it came back clean as well. My dr sent me for blood work but im not sure that is where the answer lies. Any idea is helpful i need to get back to work. Thanks in advance.
It sounds as if the numbness in the middle finger and arm might indicate a nerve pinch somewhere above the numbness/pain and towards the brain. Elbow, Shoulder and neck are some of the more likely possible locations. There may be other causes of your symptoms. Has your Dr discussed nerve issues?

I read your private message to me.
It sounds like the oral (Neproxin) and topical (diclofenac sod/diffusimax 8%) NSAIDs are working well. Keep working with Dr. Landrith and his team. Let them know if things continue to improve or if they take a turn for the worse.
