My 10 year old son was hit on the left elbow while batting 1 1/2 weeks ago (he bats right handed). There was and is no swelling and bruising. He is a left handed thrower/handwriter. We iced it that night. He rested it for a few days. Now he can swing a bat and write and use it in all ways, but it hurts his elbow and upper arm (not shoulder) when he throws a ball. He has had the same level of soreness since he was hit, but he doesn't act like he is any pain and never complains about it. I don't know if I should take him to a doctor. But if he hasn't improved in almost 2 weeks, does this mean that there is something broken? I would appreciate any advice that I can get!
