Is bilateral quadricep strain common? While doing interval sprints I felt a very sharp pain in my upper left thigh that stopped me in my tracks, I stupidly carried on , putting more effort on my other leg only for the same thing to happen to my right upper thigh. I can walk but painfully, bend my knees ok but with pain too. Tender to the touch and painful when standing. I can only see examples of quadricep strains on one leg online. I obviously hadn't warmed up properly, and gather they are bad grade 1 - mild grade 2, but is this common? Will I really need to stay away from training for a few weeks?
