I hyperextend my knee Saturday night playing football. My friend fell right into my knee pushing it back n I heard two slight pops and the burning started. I stood up and my knee burned a bit n felt really weak then I limped off the field. Pain about a 6 when it happened and I could bend it without too much pain so I wasn't alarmed . Woke up the next day pain at an 8 or 9 with my knee swollen n i could barely move it without dying. I couldn't move it at all. it's now Tuesday night and the pain isnt too bad anymore ibuprofen helped me a lot these past days. I have another game Saturday and I want to play because I feel like my knee is getting better now that the swelling went down. I can walk now but My problem is my knee is still weak and when I straighten all the way or bend it beyond 80 degrees it feels tight and weak. But I really need to play my team needs me. I don't think I tore my ACL because it dosent pop and i can put pressure on it without it hurting but it does feel weak I don't want to reinjure or mess it up even more. I have 4 days until my game. I don't know what to do. Someone help.
