Hi, my name is Josh and I am a pitching instructor that works with kids ages 7-18. I am temporarily in Columbus Ga and am looking for kids to work with.
I am not endorsed or supported by ASMI, but I believe in a lot of what they are about. Dr. Fleisig was kind enough to let me post here and I want to let people know I will be available almost any day.
I feel that getting consistent, stable mechanics can make almost any athlete a good pitcher. I think mastering these mechanics will lead to throwing more strikes, making the game slow down and allow a pitcher to pitch and not just throw. I focus on Balance, Posture, and Head and keeping those in check throughout the pitching motion.
I played DI baseball at Purdue University, coached at the Freshman level of high school in California and have been giving lessons for over 3 years now. I do not throw hard, but I was able to maximize my mechanics to make me an effective pitcher at the highest collegiate level.
If you are interested, please send me a private message with location and if you are interested. I will be in Ga for at least three months and then will be moving back to California.
